A favorite stay: Bed & Breakfast Evelina

The lovely, warm and cozy B & B is centrally located on the quiet via Streghi in the medieval town of Lucca in Tuscany.

We had to climb Three flights of stairs but it was worth it.

The rooms are gorgeous with a very Italian decor, un-cluttered, well appointed and very clean. Ours had a very good view of the tower.

I also loved the little details like the bedside lamp and fresh flowers on the tables.

The emphasis on the privacy and respect for other guests is what I also loved about this B & B.

_DIN1394We looked forward to breakfast lovingly prepared by the owners who run the B & B.

_DIN1818Everything was tasty with local specialties, fresh fruit, breads, juices and Apple pudding made by Giulio himself.

_DIN1825_DIN1804You can choose to dine inside or at the terrace overlooking private gardens.

But what made B & B Evelina really special was Simona and Giulio. They are the most gracious and attentive hosts.

Everything at B & B Evelina to me was superb. If I ever travel back to Lucca, I will definitely book my stay with them again.
